Letters & email to Kwame
Hi ... Thanks for all the e-mails you send me.
Lots of mail comes in and there is not always time to reply,
and only a small percentage are posted here.
I want you to know they all do get read, and it is very gracious of you to have written them.
... here are excerpts from some incoming e-mails, authors usually initialed:
Dear Kwame,
I heard you this Sunday morning on a small info-network radio show and was thoroughly impressed with your advice for minority parents who want their children to succeed in corporate America. What stuck in my mind was your comment about hustling and how that desire to succeed prevailed over everything else. As a Hispanic and professional, your message reminded me of my civic duty to lead our minority youth through the myriad challenges they face in today's business world. You are an inspiration and if there is anyway that I can help please contact me via email.
Much success in your endeavors and thank you for being an inspiration.
Best,E.B.
Kwame
I was in the audience Friday when you spoke at the New York Life Kickoff meeting. I think your mother is watching over you and is very proud. I was a single parent myself, and I know how proud a mother feels when her son accomplishes good things.
You talked about success, and I wanted you to know that I think you are and have been a success already just by being yourself. Your vocabulary is wonderful -- I was moved by your choice of words. Your presence is wonderful -- your posture and your voice convey a message that you care about who you are and what you can do for others. Your attitude speaks volumes. Your mother must have been a wonderful woman.
I believe if your mother were here today, she would say "Son, you are and have been a success. Keep doing what you're doing."
I know you will meet life's challenges with grace and wisdom. My beloved father used to say: "If my foresight were as good as my hindsight I'd be a lot better off by a damed sight." I'm sure you know what that means. We all have to go forward and make the best decisions we possibly can with the information we have collected. It's part of the human condition.
I loved: "The set-back is just the set-up for the come-back." I never heard that expression before, and it was a gem. I wish you success in whatever you do, and, as you know, the definition of "success" is a very personal thing. Each person has their own idea of what success is, and our idea of success changes as we change. Sometimes it's a big accomplishment, and sometimes it's a little accomplishment. I think your parents were very wise in naming you Kwame. That distinctive name which was given to you when you were a baby will continue to bear fruit. Although Shakespeare said that a rose by any other name will smell as sweet, your name announces who you are and prepares the person who is about to me you that you are unique.
It was a pleasure to hear you speak. Thank you.

My name is (F.M.) and I am writing you to say thank you. I know you must get this all the time, but I just want to let you know that your accomplishments have profoundly effected my outlook on life. My admiration is not based on your achievements but how you comport yourself. I am tired of seeing young men of color conforming to social stereotypes. You are leading by example and I hope to follow in your foot steps. Thank you.

Hello Kwame,
I just wanted to reach back to you to thank you for speaking from the heart yesterday at our Sales Congress/EXPO, and Thank You for All You’ve Done for us at NAIFA-Westchester!
All the comments received have been not just positive but that the individuals were moved. We were recharged by the way you related your personal experiences to what we do every day. Your responses to questions further clarified that we were all “in the moment together” and that we deal with very real problems and solutions with our daily persistence and insistence which lends life altering assistance to the public we serve.
Please feel free to use the resources of our chapter for anything going forward. We worked well as a team and I personally feel a permanent connection between you and our Chapter. I can mail you some of the considerable publicity the event received if it would be useful for your enterprise.
All the best in your future endeavors. On behalf of Melissa and Chris, our Executive Director and President, and our entire board and membership, I can assure you that we will not forget your view from the beneficiary’s side of our life’s work. That view will last a lifetime and empower us to reach more people with our advance planning message.
Sincerely ,

Kwame,
It was nice meeting you. During our brief conversation and my lenghty observation, a number of positive elements stood out. One in particular that you exemplified "It is nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice". "You were more than nice, You were Kappa Nice". I think your presentation was on point. It was Magnificent, Moving, Motivational, Meaningful and is an inspiring message to our young as well as seasoned brothers. Additionally, I am going to encourange all of the chapters in my province to have students in the schools to visit IHQ's website to view the webcast of your presentation. Sorry to be so wordy but some things require more emphasis than others. Much success in your future endeavors and keep being "Kwame".

Kwame,
...Phenomenal!!!
I admired you on the apprentice and even have checked out your website. You appear to be a great person and an excellent role model. When I heard you were coming to UNC I knew I wanted to be a part. After tonight, I can only say that your words were heartfelt and absolutely phenomenal! Thanks for being such a blessing - I'm sure your words provide motivation for many.
I know you mentioned having a DVD and would like to know if it is similar to tonight's presentation. I am hoping to share this with one of the youth groups I am leading at church ... just let me know if it is similar and I will purchase it from your website!

Kwame,
I wanted to follow up on our conversation in Denver on Saturday as you were getting ready to leave after your wonderful and dynamic speech. By the way your presentation was fantastic. I particularly liked the way you connected with the students on Friday evening at the reception and continued on Saturday. Our audience really enjoyed hearing you. We really appreciate your coming to Denver.
Again thank you so much and much luck in every future venture.
If I can ever be of assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dear Mr. Jackson
It was a pleasure to see you this evening on TVOne. Gentrification is a very
serious problem for our African American communities. The information that
was shared was very important and should be aired earlier.
Mr. Sharpton, you and others are a very positive influence on our young
people. Please keep up the good work. You show them that dreams are really
attainable!

I saw Mr. Jackson speak when he visited my school a few months back. He spoke about image, and what a difference grad school makes...Anyhow, I can only imagine how many letters you receive but I hope that I am given the opportunity to be one of the "lucky ones" you meet with because I have several ideas, and agree with the message that Mr. Jackson brought to our university when he spoke.

Hi Kwame:
Thanks so much for being with us for our Opening Ceremony on Tuesday night. [ 42nd Annual National Leadership and Skills Conference of SkillsUSA, Kansas City ]
We heard so many positive comments on your speech. Our national staff,
state leaders, teachers and students are all saying that you were such a
powerful and motivating speaker. I was personally thrilled with how well
you incorporated our key messages into your remarks. You truly have a
gift as a speaker, and we appreciate the time and energy you put into
preparing your remarks.

Greetings Kwame!
First and foremost it was indeed a pleasure meeting you this past Saturday at our National Leadership Conference. We were blessed and inspired by your amazing words and all of the NSBE leaders had nothing to say but great things about your presentation. FYI, shortly after you left, my conference was deemed as the best leadership experience ever in NSBE history and I became the 19th recipient of the coveted NSBE limited edition gold cufflinks. Needless to say I was indeed humbled and I will cherish that experience for ever! On a more personal note, I'd like to re-iterate how inspired I am by you and your accomplishments. Your kind and supportive words really affected me in a very positive light, and I am even more amped about my speaking career and other aspirations!
Be Blessed brother and I hope to hear from you soon!
C.J.C.
Mr. Kwame Jackson
Many people have been approaching me and telling me that they loved your speech, others yelling at me as to why I didn't let them know. Everyone loved you........Others have been discussing the event as it reached them through the grapevine, and two members from the newspaper were there to cover it and they are writing an article about it which should be fantastic, and I'll send you a copy. So the people who we didn't reach because the day was a long day ending a long year, many left early that day, will be reached in the college papers, as Lauren, the editor, was ecstatic about your words of encouragement and advice.
Personally, I have always been a huge fan, and look forward to sending you further information about how well your words have impacted people.
Best, Thanks, It was a pleasure and indeed an honor to meet you and have you speak at Brooklyn College.

Kwame,

Aloha Kwame,
It was a pleasure meeting you, sorry about the circumstance though.
You gave an inspiring speech. It was a privilege for me to witness his beautiful and intimate relationship with the Lord the last couple of years. It took me a while to get him to come to church to worship with me but once he came, there was no stopping! He was on fire for Jesus in his own way. It gives me comfort that he was saved before his passing. I know the Lord would say, " hey Joe, I know you well....you did well!".

Kwame,
It was indeed a true delight to meet you and have you participate in what turned out to be ASHP's
most-attended Midyear Clinical Meeting in history! Thank you for helping us
to achieve that accomplishment. I too, received positive feedback from
many of our members--all resonating the awesome message you delivered.
I did get a chance to listen to you in the sound room. And as a
speechwriter, I must say, I think you did a phenomenal job! A great
delivery, combined with timely/useful information and a personable nature
are always essentials to a well-executed speech. To which, you did
marvelously.

Kwame,
Without question, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you in Kansas City. Thank you for being so gracious and for adding to the success of the program. It is a privilege to have made a connection with you both and we welcome the opportunity to work with you again. Please keep us posted on the progress of your endeavors. If you find yourselves this way again, call me!

Mr. Jackson I just wanted to let you know that I really admire the guiding principles that you have set for your company. I am a third generation 32 year old male who recently took over my grandfathers' company that was started in 1942. We were the first black property management company in the city of Atlanta.... Too make a long story short you seem to have a very good understanding as stated in your companys principles of how all blacks need to think. More young blacks need to network and share ideas as it relates to business.
"A true leader should at some point sit back with a nice glass of cognac and a fine cigar and enjoy and encourage what he or she has produced."
Thanks,
C.W.
Kwame,
Please accept this as the first of my expressions of gratitude for your
participation in the African American Business Summit 2005.
Your support was invaluable and brought a new level of hope to the
entrepreneurs and business professionals who attended the conference.

Kwame:
Thank You so much for your time today - I know you are very busy so it is
greatly appreciated.
I have to tell you, that most of the time when I speak to people about
going for an MBA or advancing anywhere in my life I usually get put down
or they make it seem impossible. Even though I know that I shouldn't
listen it still somehow gets to me. However, On the way in the elevator
after speaking to you, I felt like a different person - like I can do
whatever I want to do. Your advice really made me think about things
differently - from now on I am just going to filter out the negativity and
just focus on what I need to do. The problem is that I feel that I should
be a millionaire by now and have to realize Rome wasn't built in a day and
27 is still young.
Best Regards,

I was so fortunate to hear you speak at Indiana University a few weeks ago. You and I have some things in common. I am also an account manager for a landscape design company. I started the business about 8 years ago, and it has helped with my investment portfolio a great deal. You have such a positive attitude on life in general. I really think that’s what it takes to become successful, along with a superior work ethic. I just wanted to thank you personally... Since I have listened to your speech I have tried to think about what you had to say. Treating others with respect and always having a positive attitude will get you a long way.

Mr. Jackson, Mr. Smith and Mr. Moses,
I have read a few articles about the accomplishments of Legacy Holdings, LLC and would like to commend you on your success with the Rosewood project in Prince Georges' County, MD. It is great to see African American men come together and get a slice of the American Pie...I wish you much success ...

Kwame,
This is Grace Akinlemibola from the National Association of Black Accountants
at IU-Bloomington. I am writing this email to simply thank you for coming
here. I enjoyed the event tremendously and I have only heard good reviews
thus far from everyone else. Furthermore, I hope you enjoyed your time here
in Bloomington as well. You are a such a great speaker and businessman and I
wish you the best in everything you do. I know you will be even more
successful than you already are not because you were on The Apprentice, but
because you have the intelligence and drive.
Thank you again and I hope to look forward to more interactions with you in
the future.
Most sincerely,

I enjoyed listening to your talk today on "Lessons from the Boardroom" here at Indiana University. Your trip to Bloomington was well worth it for me, and I'm sure everyone else in attendence as well.

Hi Kwame:
I just wanted to send you a note to say "thank you" for your wonderful
speech you presented at our CoMarketing Summit (ACOSTA) last week.
We continue to receive feedback from our vendors and staff about how
moved they were by your speech. They also made the comment of what a
nice gentleman you are. Hopefully, everyone made you feel welcome.
It truly was one of our best Summit's, and we owe a lot of that to you
and Erik.

Dear Mr. Jackson,
Thank you for encouraging me to contact you after our brief encounter this past Saturday at the Best Buy store on Wisconsin Avenue in NW Washington, D.C. After following your career and successes since the show, it was an utmost honor to personally meet you. I also want to thank you again, for your professionalism and poise while representing so many of us on national television. I truly believe that your behavior and levelheaded confidence has definitely had a positive and immediate impact on corporate America’s view of the work ethic and the intelligence of young African-Americans.

... Last year I got the chance to hear Mr. Jackson speak and I've been a much
more ambitious person every since...
Thank-you for the inspiration,
A.R.
Mr Jackson, Mr. Smith and Mr. Moses:
I am not generally one to send "fan mail" but after reading the guiding principles for Legacy Holdings, I wanted to convey to you all the sense of pride and excitement I have concerning your business ventures. I know that you will have a lasting and far reaching impact on our community. In the midst of this tragic time in our country, I also hope and pray as the Gulf Coast is rebuilt companies like yours will be at the table. In particular, I hope that you all will be able to do something in New Orleans. It seems that "instant gentrification" may occur there due to a natural disaster, but I would take comfort in knowing that a company like yours may be able to go and be a part of the process - and possibly ensure that the displaced occupants of New Orleans are given the opportunity to live in and around their city if they so choose. Again, I just wanted to let you know that you all make me want to continue to strive to become the "best me" that I can, not only for myself, but also for my entire community.
Hopefully if we all continue to inspire each other then maybe the paradigm shift that your principles mention, and our community desperately needs, will occur. I would have been remiss if I hadn't said something to you all after visiting your site. Continue to walk in favor on your very purposeful journey.
M.S.
NOTE...This is important to me, click: www.ecd.org ...Kwame
Brother Jackson,
Thanks for checking in. My family is doing well.
My company's New Orleans branch was one of the few places that did not
get flooded, however the security company called this morning to
report that the branch had been looted. Appropriately, the police are
only responding to emergency calls. Fortunately, my staff got out of
the city. We don't know when we can return, and what we will face when
we get there.
Similarly, the southern 1/3 of the Mississippi has been devastated.
I'm still waiting to hear from our Baton Rouge office. Here in
Jackson, 260,000 of 400,000 homes are without power, and there is
significant wind-related damage. My family and my Jackson-based staff
are fine. We don't have power, but by comparison we are blessed.
Over the next several days ECD/HOPE will work with local, state and
federal officials to determine how as a lender we can best contribute
to rebuilding the region. However, as you can imagine, our constituents
will need much more than loans. To that end, several people have
asked how they can help. Anyone interested can send tax deductible
contributions to:
Enterprise Corporation of the Delta
c/o Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund
222 North President Street
Suite 200
Jackson, MS 39201.
We'll coordinate with the Red Cross and other local charities to
direct our assistance. As relief efforts are organized, I can be
clearer about what would be most helpful.
Thanks for keeping us in your prayers,
Bill
Kwame,
I thoroughly enjoyed your thought provoking keynote address to our
group, EACE, on August 10. Clearly, it was one the most poignant and
entertaining deliveries in 20 years! Thank you for your candor, humor,
and insights on leadership. I hope you will continue to spread your
powerful message as I will continue to encourage students and staff to
raise the bar.

Hello
I had the pleasure of meeting you both at the National Urban League conference in DC last week. Kwame, thank you for speaking to my mom, she is still telling people about that. *smile* My reason for emailing is two-fold. First off, I would like to tell you both that I was very impressed with you. Obviously I was impressed with your professional manner, however, it is your open and friendly nature that truly impressed me. Kwame, my mother said several times "He was so polite!". Erik, I equally enjoyed talking to you. I felt as if I was having a short convo with a friend.
Thank you both,

I read an article about you in Pride magazine (UK - July issue). My maiden name is Jackson and I decided to contact you after being inspired by the article. I run my own business in the 'Look good - feel good' industry. I work with the support of an International company and would like to develop international distributors in my team. You already have your own successful business, its great to see another Jackson setting such a great example to young men! Good luck in all your endeavours.

Mr. Jackson,
I am a sophomore Business/ Marketing major from Morehouse College. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with you at the last INROADS LDI Conference in Memphis, Tennessee. You spoke about choices and some of the opportunities that have been afforded to you throughout your life. Your speech was very motivational because I aspire to be one day meet and surpass the level of success you have gained. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, much like you. I have dreams of attending Harvard MBA School and I would like to know what advice you have for someone that is trying to not only be successful, but to be legendary like yourself.

Thanks again for a wonderful message at the Florida LDI in Tampa. I attend St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, NC. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I took many points from your speech that will definitely prove to be motivational during this upcoming year. Now I'm not afraid to apply to the Harvards and Yales. Keep up the good work and good luck on the Rosewood project. Thanks for remembering our history. My family was amongst the families ran out of Rosewood into Ocala during that time.

We recently met Leadership Development Institute in Tampa, FL and I kept trying to wait until you would be finished with pictures to ask you to be a mentor to me. You impressed upon me many things but I was kinda surprised that you see what I have seen

First and foremost, I wanted to commend you on your speech for INROADS LDI this weekend in Memphis. It was outstanding.
I also wanted to know if you had any suggestions for obtaining internships during the school at specifically Proctor and Gamble. I attend Duke University right now but will be participating in an exchange program in the Spring of 2006 in Atlanta...

Just a quick message saying once again,as I'm sure you've heard a thousand times: Thanks for the inspirational work you've done from the black community worldwide.
This is coming from a Zimbabwean raised Canadian and I'm happy to see black inspiration.
Keep working we might just be the first black billionaires our age.

... you are the epitome of what all young men should aspire to be. I invest in real estate on a local level purchasing and renovating distressed properties so i can only imagine what a huge undertaking a major development would be. I think you're wonderful and i wish great success to you and your partners.
P.H.
Kwame,
I want to express my gratitude for your EXCEPTIONAL and MOTIVATIONAL speech that you gave in Minnesota at INROADS' LDI. My sponsoring company is Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and I wanted to let you know that you have empowered me to reach new heights in my professional career. You don't know it but you said a quote that I will take with me for LIFE. A man that knows HOW will always have a job, but a man that knows WHY, will always be his boss. Thank you again I greatly appreciated it.
D.H.
First of all I would like to say that I fell in love with Kwame's style on the first season of the Apprentice. His professional manner and friendly personality had me hooked on watching the show. I am so proud of him for continuing to be a positive African-American influence for our youth and elders alike. Please continue to keep up the good work and remember that both black and white America have their eyes on you. The difference between the two is that one side will not easily look beyond any mistakes to see you for who you really are and for what you have accomplished without first smearing your name and reputation all over CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, and CNBC. Stay strong and continue to give it your all. I wish you and your partners much success and fortune in your company Legacy Holdings, LLC. Your legacy is already in the making.
I really enjoyed viewing kwamejackson.com. The person(s) in charge of this website have done a fantastic job. The website is not a cheesy site thrown together in a matter of minutes like I see all too often. It has almost the same amount of class as the person it represents.

Hay there Kwame

I would be honored if Brother Jackson, or any of you would respond sometime, because I would love to learn more about how you all got started and arrived at where you are now.
A. F.
Kwame,
I just want to stop by and say how proud I am as a black college student to see other black men being so successful. You have no idea how many people look up to you out there! Keep doing all the amazing work all you guys do. P.S Kwame should right a book about black people at the top.

Just wanted to drop you a note to express my sincerest thanks for the very
kind words tonight and to reiterate how extremely proud I am of you. I will
always have the fondest of memories of your time at East and tonight's
event. I thought your comments tonight to everyone were very insightful.
It is truly wonderful to see our former students making an impact in our
world ...I wish you continued success in your future endeavours. Please keep in
touch and let me know if I can ever be of assistance to you. Once again, I
am extremely proud of you as is the entire East Mecklenburg community.
L. M.
I have always been a huge fan. I am so happy that I have finally found a way to contact you. I continue to read about your success, and I can't help but admire your great character as well. I am about to enter college at UC Berkeley, and I am the first to go through a formal education in my family.
Sincerely,
S.K.
Just wanted to say to Kwame...I enjoyed watching the apprentice the first season. Colorful cast...thought that you conducted yourself quite impressively. I like the Rosewood concept. Developing and thereby empowering african america communities is certainly important if civil right progress is to be made. I'm caucasian, and grew up in Texas. Needless to say, I saw some ugly things as a child. I Joined a fraternity at the U of Texas, but dropped out shortly after i learned that Asians, most hispanic, and black students were not actually welcome to join. Anyhow, young me like you and your partners are impressive by any standard of measure. People like you force the world to set aside predjudice and see the truth. Anyone, regardless of creed or color can excel if given the opportunity. I look at your bios....wow. Those resumes floor me. If all of you are a charismatic and capable as Kwame appeared to be on television, you will be a force to be reckoned with.
J.S.
Kwame,
We so enjoyed Kwames's visit and presentation last night at East Meck. He was so gracious and demonstrated such high regard for all teachers and students. I was especially impressed that he remained for the entire, long awards ceremony, even though the other two guests, and many in the audience, had departed. He is obviously a man of great character.
D.A.
Mr. Jackson,
You gave an excellent presentation to the American Society of Association Executives. Your words were truly inspiring.

Hey Mr. Jackson!!!
I'm from Albemarle Road Middle School and I just wanted to thank you for coming and talking to our school on Wednesday. I learned a lot from you and you have been a real inspiration. I also appreciate you taking the time to come here. Continue your journey to become successful!
I know you'll do well!
P.P.
Hello Mr Jackson,
I would just like to thank you for speaking at our school previously this week. I enjoyed your encouraging topics and inspiring advice. If there were more individuals like yourself in our society and world then there would definitely be more fufiling stories of people like yourself.
S.E.
Hello
I was extremely inpsired by your ambition and professionalism on the Apprentice, and the other night on the Donny Deutsch show. I was thinking a lot about how far you have come and how your confidence inspires other people. I see how you carry yourself and how your attitude affects those who come in contact with you..... I love how you support and represent the African American public and show them that they can do anything they put their minds to! This is such an essential message you are sending. I would appreciate hearing from you to find out how you could inspire, the man in my life. You would be perfect and he looks up to you, admires you, and appreciates your attitude and ambition. Thank you in advance. You are an inspiration to all!
Thank you in advance,
C.R.
Mr. Jackson,
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to tell you how impressed I was with
you on The Big Deal tonight. You were kind, polished, and eloquent--a truly
inspring brother. It's a shame that not all African-Americans can present
themselves so favorably on national television *cough* Omarosa *cough*. Again,
you are amazing. I thank you, and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
L.
Kwame,
I was so impressed with your interviewon the donny deutch show, you displayed such class, especially that "cold war" statement, it spoke volumes!!! I have never written to a "celebrity" before, but had to check out your website when you gave it. You are an inspiration, blessings for your legacy venture, You will do well.
H.
Kwame,
By reviewing your website, it appears that many people watched the "Big Idea" on CNBC on which you appeared recently. I know that you have read many emails regarding this, but I just have to put my two cents in. I just want to thank you for being a gentleman and not succumbing to the low levels of that odviously dilusional woman. Omarosa has apparently gotten the "Hollywood" bug and will go to any lengths to keep her 30 minutes of fame. And more, I am angry that such a woman can get my blood to boil like this. I am appauled by her behavior and proud of yours.
Keep on doing what you are doing. I have rooted for you since the first episode of the Apprentice and will continue to support your endeavors.
Thanks!
J. L.
Kwame,
What a class act you are! I just viewed the Donny Deutsch show last night and have to say..."You are a stand out!" You represent your race with dignity and style. I can only wish you success, and hope that someday Omarossa will wake up and take MANY lessons from YOU!.
J.G.
I was watching The Big Idea the other night and I saw you on the show. I would like to commend you on your decorum and the way you conducted yourself on national television. Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, on the other hand, was very defensive and quite obnoxious and irritating. Black people of America whom watched the first season of The Apprentice were appauled at her behavior and misconduct and we as a whole believe that she cost you the job with Donald Trump. I also would like to say that I agree with your comment about black people. Regardless of what position we are in, race always comes into play. You are a representative of your race whether you designate yourself to be or not. You are an excellent representative for black men and for blacks as a whole in America. I thank you for not proving that all blacks are ignorant and constantly argumentative in contrast to how your cohort conducted herself on national television. Her behavior was deplorable and it probably will cost her ratings on her "new talk show" because we don't want to watch her dominate all of the interviews with her defensive attitude. Once again, congratulations and thanks for representating African-Americans in a positive light.
C.
Good Day
Great looking out, many props on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch very professional and great looking out for African-American. You are a true soldier. Keep up the great work...As for Omarosa…well let’s not go there. (lol)
If there is anything you need assistance with please do not hesitate to call if I could do it for you I will if not I could do the best that I can to assist.
S.A.M. Sr.
Kwame:
My opinion. First season Apprentice candidates thus far were light years more professional and more qualified than the current season and the second season. You and Bill were so evenly matched and well liked I could not call it in the end. I just watched the Big Idea tonight.........and the bottom line is Omorosa cost you dearly. Disassociate yourself now from appearances with her. I will say you handled her with finesse and class.
Continued success to you my friend.
D.R. "A Big Apprentice Fan".
Kwame,
I just watched the big idea and wanted to tell you that you carry yourself so well. It must be so difficult not to lose it with Omorosa, she can be so insulting and juvenile... But your way of dealing with her shows how mature you are. You don't have to prove anything to the audience. The Audience knows what she really is like and your honesty (and competence throughout the apprentice) is extremely apparent. That's it - Good luck with everything!
S.
Kwame:
I watched you this evening on the Big Idea, in which you stated, "I can't be a 6'0" Black Man on TV and just be a contestant". This you said in response to Danny's question, "Why do you have to be a Black contestant".
That being said, aren't you concerned about a Black Women conducting herself the way Omarosa did tonight?
I owned a business for three years in a community populated with African Americans, Jamaicans and Haitians. I learned a lot about myself.
So its just my opinion that a Man such as yourself needs to stand up against the behavior of people like Omarosa. Or maybe I should use the term, "distance"...

Note: We got a lot of mail from this show ... these are some - thanks to everyone for kind words and appreciation.
Mr. Jackson
... You have become an architect within the African American Community. I was very proud to read about the Legacy Project. It’s a rare privilege to read such a mammoth endeavor: Planned and developed by a core of African Americans. Legacy Development is an inspiration, and my admiration and congratulation extends to you and your colleagues...

Work to leave a memorable impression in whatever you’re seeking to accomplish and whenever you enter a period of difficult times, reach down deep to execute as if the whole family is witnessing each effort exerted. In addition to the incidents when you’re confronted with an exigent circumstance or decision making situation, draw from the most current facts readily available to you and conclude to a choice that conveys your parent’s proudest moments...You are a true gift to the world and I am especially proud of you.

Hi Kwame,
The UK version of "The Apprentice" came to an end yesterday, which reminded me of the same show in the US (hosted by Donald Trump) to which you came runner-up. I'm intrigued by your first name ...
Regards,
P.W.L.
Response: "Kwame" means "Born on Saturday".
Hello Kwame,
I am a big fan of yours writing from the U.K. I like the way you give quality advice and you are definitely one to have as a role model... I would like to know when you are going to release your book. I hope this email gets to you, keep up the good work and i know you'll be blessed as you are a really wholesome dude...
A.O.
Kwame,
... you have brouht in a new life to african americans that they to can excel in the corporate world of top CEOs with modern and dynamic brilliance, apart from sports and entertainment. Its great to have you as a role model and a leader for the 21st century. This is my prayer "that God bless Kwame."
P.N.
Kwame
As an African Americans and someone that got to admire you from the apprentice, I just wanted to follow your career after the Apprentice and Donald Trump. Great to see you are being a Donald and not working for Donald, making us all proud.
A.S.
Everyone,
I would like to take the time to say I am proud of everything you are accomplishing and will accomplish in the future. All of you are a symbol for our future youth. You are demonstrating by being positive examples. Leaders in your on right. Motivating and demonstating abilities that are not portrayed on everyday tv.
Before reading the portfolios of everyone, I was thinking that my nephews do not have a chance in this world other than by sports and music. All of you gave me hope, for them. I am very appreciative.
I wish all of you the best in you endeavors.
Blessings to all!
Sincerely,
L.C.B
Kwame
I am very interested in business and hope to pursue a business career some day. I started working (at an ice cream shop) when I was just 14 (as soon as I was old enough for my working papers). I participate in my school’s Entrepreneurship Academy, which focuses on marketing, purchasing, negotiating and other skills necessary for a successful business. This year, I was selected to participate in an after-school program called Montgomery Youth Works, which offers students career counseling and job readiness training... Because of my interest in business, I’ve been a fan of “The Apprentice” since the first season. I’ve learned a lot from the show about the many sides of the business world, and how success takes a lot of hard work, but that it can also be fun. My family and I were rooting for you during that first season. While Bill Rancic was a good candidate, too, we thought that Donald Trump should have picked you.
My brother goes to school at the University of Maryland in College Park and I was excited when he told me you’d be on campus. I left school early that day to hear you speak and I really enjoyed your speech. I liked your jokes and stories, and the way you gave advice and interacted with the crowd.
I was especially interested in your project at Rosewood. It was exciting to me to find out that you had chosen to work in Prince George’s County, which is so close to where I live. Plus, the development seems very worthwhile, since it will improve P.G. County and restore a neighborhood that used to be so prominent for the County’s African-American community.
Regards,
K.C.
Kwame,
I would just like to congratulate Kwame on his success after the show but for me his biggest achievement is his pledge to give back to the black community by setting up businesses to benefit hardworking minority Americans, what a beautiful thing! I pray that God guides you and ensures that you meet these goals.
D.S.
Dear Kwame,
Watching you in the Apprentice has really inspired me in becoming more like you. I am a final year student from Cardiff University in UK and am currently looking to pursue a Chartered Accountancy qualification. I am very determined to succeed and was looking to your advice on how to become my own leader and start my business. I consider UK not an ideal spot for my business ventures. What advice can you give me on my future? I am determined, outspoken, confident, only thing is i have a very strong personality which some managers dont like.
I.K. (UK)
Hello Kwame,
I have wanted to email you for quite some time, but I have been busy raising the bar ( thank you ). I was one of the students that you spoke to at Rutgers University. You left such a great impression on me. I have a group eight friends in which we are all pre-med, pre-dental, public health, and social science majors. We meet once a month and talk about social, political, and personal concerns; I had taken notes from your speech and on many occassions I find myself referring to those notes on raising the bar and becoming power people. Kwame everything you spoke about made so much sense. I t good to know that there are guys out there that think along the same line as I do. My friend from FAU told me that you were coming to speak at her school. I immediately told her she must attend and she must get your number, but she told me that you preferred to be emailed which is fine.
Kwame you are defiantly on top of you game. Also, I know along with this great opportunity there is alot of responsibilities, stress and all that good stuff, therefore remember to take care of yourself.
S.H.
Kwame,
I'm a third-year mass comm. major, studying broadcast journalism at St. Cloud State University. I saw you speak last night on campus and would like to thank you for doing so. Among the many things you mentioned, I particularly enjoyed your call for people to lose their apathetic attitudes and aspire to do more in life. That forward-moving message was very inspirational to me.
Thanks again for visiting SCSU. I hope you come again.
Sincerely
D.S. , St. Cloud State University
Mr. Jackson,
I am a sophomore in college and I recently saw you speak here at the St. Cloud State University campus. I was very intrigued by your words and you have great advice for us young people. I admire you for all that you have done and I think you are a great role model. You have a lot of experience with leadership not only with the apprentice but in life itself. I was wondering if during the apprentice if you personally saw or encountered any of the "darkside" of leadership while people were project leaders...?
Also I would like!
to thank you again for coming to speak with us it was very beneficial to me and I learned a great deal from you. Maybe you can go to the real St. Thomas the sunny one that is on your next college visit.
Thanks again and good luck in all of your endeavors.

Hello,
I live in London, England and I will be 16 this June 05. I had always wanted to major in Drama since I was five years old. However, after seeing the "Apprentice USA", I was enamored by Kwame Jackson. I admired his integrity, his cool attitude and intelligence. I have decided to change my major to Buisiness Studies after seeing Kwame. I would like to get information from Kwame Jackson about getting into the best American College(s), to follow in his footsteps.
Thank you in advance for your knowledge and assistance in my request. I hope to hear from you soon.
All the best
J.B.
Mr. Kwame Jackson,
Words cannot express the wonderful time Hewitt Associates had last night
during our Black History Month Celebration. Kwame delivered an outstanding
message, not only to the black associates, but to all associates and our
leaders, about the commitment that we all have to picking up and passing the
torch. We thank you once again for all of your efforts and support in
helping us to pull this off.
Sincerely,

Hi Kwame,

Dear Mr. Jackson,
I was present at Florida Atlantic University when you spoke on Wednesday February 23, 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed your speech and I truly want to commend you for your past successes and what God has in store for you in the present and in the future. If you recall, I was the short Omega sitting in the front row as you were speaking to the audience at Florida Atlantic University. We spoke very briefly during the reception about your company Legacy Holdings and the Rosewood Project your firm is overseeing in Prince George County. I think its an innovative real estate development project Legacy Holdings is undertaking and I truly believe that once the project is completed, it can serve as a model for real estate development and economic empowerment in minority concentrated areas in urban communities.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future! Once again, congratulations on your achievements and May God Continue to Bless You Richly!!
J.S.
Dear Kwame Jackson,
Thank you for coming to the London School of Economics to share your insights with us.
Your performance was very good, I think you displayed your true self when you were answering questions. Your answers showed that you are a truly bright and charasmatic personality.
As I mentioned before, I am still unsure of when to take the leap into entrepreneurship, and as of right now I don't feel the 'light' has come on. Your Rosewood project looks excellent and I believe you and your partners will do an excellent job. Because you weren't carrying around any business cards I looked up your website and found this. So I hope you get a chance to read it in between your busy schedule. I still have various questions I wish to ask you (if you remember I kept putting my hand up in the lecture hall).
I look forward to hearing from you soon. I'm sure our paths will cross again someday.
Thank you,
Regards,
